*The library remains open on all days of the year except on National Holidays.
All students are eligible to become members of the library.
Silence must be strictly maintained inside the library.
Bags and other belongings must be deposited at the property counter before entering the library.
Valuable items should not be left at the property counter, the library is not responsible for any loss.
Books will be issued against the library card upon signature in the issue register.
The loan period for books is 7 days including the day of issue, for students and Non- Teaching staff. For Teaching staff, books are issued for the duration of a semester.
Marking with pen/pencil on book/on any reading material is not allowed.
Students have to pay late fee if they don’t return/ renew the book in time. Fine will be charged @ Rs.5/- per day per book after seven days..
If a student fails to return a book on time, a late remark will be recorded in the remark section. After three such remarks, the home issue facility will be suspended for that student for the remainder of the academic year.
In case of any damage to or loss of a book reader will be required to replace it.
User(s) has to return all issued books when he/she is out of station for more than fifteen days.
The home issue facility will be suspended 15 days prior to the university exams. During this period, students may use the current reading facility during the working hours of the library.
Activities other than reading or studying are strictly prohibited inside the library.
The use of Mobile phone is prohibited in the library.
Eatables are not allowed inside the library.

General books are issued to all eligible members as per their entitlements.
Reference books, bound volumes, and are not issued outside the library.
The readers should check the book thoroughly for missing pages, chapters, pictures etc., while borrowing the book.
No book in damaged condition will be accepted from the reader. Mutilated or spoiled books will have to be replaced by the borrower.
Books issued will not be accepted back on the same day.
Reader can claim books (reserve) already issued, at the circulation counter.
Loss of book must be reported immediately. Late fees, if any, will be charged till the loss of book is reported. If the original library book is returned after reporting it lost, the fine will be calculated till the date of its return.

Books are reissued only if there are no claims.
The borrowing facility can be withdrawn or restricted in case of misbehavior or misuse of the library.

DOAB is a community-driven discovery service that indexes and provides access to scholarly, peer- reviewed open access books and helps users to find trusted open access book publishers.
